Meet the Team

This is the page where we are supposed to be dressed in suits and ties,  tell you about all those initials at the end of our names and how we are number one. The problem is, our team doesn’t usually wear suits and ties and, to us, our client is Number One.

What we do know, is that all of those glorious initials and awards are meaningless if we do not share your core values. You can find our core values, clearly spelled out at the bottom of the Homepage under “Why We Do What We Do”.  We also know that people want to do business with people they know and trust. In an effort to allow you see behind the website wall, we had a little fun with our team bios. We hope it gives you a glimpse into who we are as people, and it helps you to decide if you might connect with us.

I’m proud to say that, in that time, I’ve helped countless numbers of people in Southeast Michigan buy homes, sell homes, and figured out ways to help them realize dreams they never thought attainable. I’m also very proud to say that, since my career began, I’ve grown in experience and knowledge to the point where I’m in the position to help other agents by traveling the country to speaking on panels and teaching others how to do it better  (there are few thing as rewarding). In case this is important to you, I’ve earned lots of awards, certifications, and accreditations and initials (you can read about those on our “Recognition” page–I won’t take up your time with those here).

Here’s what I know is important to YOU.

I don’t accept mediocrity. Ever. I hold myself to the highest of standards. My business is about YOU,  not me or my team. I do not try to impress clients by presenting a price that I know is unattainable to win listings, only to ask for reductions later. That kind of practice is for amateurs. When you work with us, you’ll get no bull and no broken promises. That’s our mantra and that’s why we chose to call ourselves The Integrity Team; this is a name that, to us, is so much more. Our integrity is not for sale. Integrity is the way we do business. It’s the basis of every piece of advice we give and every decision we make.

Some other things you should know? I’m a fully accredited home stager, (Accredited Staging Professional) so when you list your home with The Integrity Team, you can be sure we’ll have it putting it’s best foot forward and looking it’s best. I know the secret to making buyers clamor over your home. That’s why our homes sell for more money. Oh, and don’t let the term “staging” put you off. A good stager can repurpose what you already have in ways that transform your home. That’s what I do.

When I’m not working (which really isn’t all that often), I spend my time enjoying my life. I’ve been married to Roger Daubenmeyer (who, incidentally is our lead buyer’s representative) for a long, LONG time (he won my heart when I was just 14 years old–if that’s not proof of tenacity, then I don’t know what is!). I love being out in nature and creation and have a soft spot for animals of all sorts. I love my life here in Oakland County with it’s numerous hiking, biking, lakes and golf courses; it’s my privilege to be a part of this community and count so many people here among my friends (and customers!)

I’m Gwen. I believe in advising my clients into well-informed decisions, not just opening doors and scribbling offers. I value constant and direct communication. We aren’t selly-sell agents, just for numbers, our goal is to win you as a customer for life.

I’m Roger Daubenmeyer, and I’m the Lead Buyer Representative here at The Integrity Team. I’ve been lucky enough to call my business partner,Gwen, my partner in life for most of my life. She’s a pistol, that’s for sure, and she captured my heart when I was just 15 years old. She challenges me every day and she makes me want to do all that I do…better; she elevates all that I do. I’m a lucky guy, I think.

Like my partner, (in life, business and all other things) second-best for me is just unacceptable. I take pride in telling it like it is and making sure my customers and clients are the best-informed buyers in Southeast Michigan (or anywhere else for that matter). Educated decisions are key.

I’ve been a REALTOR for a lot of years, and in that time, I’ve honed some pretty sharp negotiating skills. It’s funny, in interviewing Buyer’s Agents, finding an agent known for their superior negotiation skills is one of the most over-looked qualities by buyers, yet it’s the most important part of the transaction. Your agent’s negotiation skill will affect your decision on the first of the month for approximately 30 years, long after the sale is over.  It’s of paramount importance to me that each and every one of my clients gets the very best house for as little money as possible. This is my win.

The Integrity Team is my family. This is a group of hand-picked real estate professionals with whom I am proud to work. Each member of this team holds itself to a higher standard–and we hold each OTHER to that standard, too. We have a saying around here: “no bull, no broken promises” and you’ll find that’s exactly the way we work. Buying a home is stressful, we know how to make it as smooth as possible. I’m Marshall. I didn’t set out to be a Realtor, but I’m thankful for the day I decided that’s what I wanted to do. I studied architecture at Lawrence Technological University, but my love of design and attention to detail had real estate calling my name.

There are so many things about this job that I love, but helping people like you, is among the best. There aren’t many things in the world better than helping people achieve their goals. Seeing those happy-homeowner beams on my clients’ faces when they’ve been given the keys to their new home is what it’s all about, for me.

And I get to work each day with the great people on The Integrity Team. These are people who live by the highest possible standards. Gwen and Roger Daubenmeyer, our team leaders, expect everything of themselves, and they expect it of the people that work with them too. I’m incredibly proud of the fact that I won a coveted place on this team and learn something new from the people here each and every day.

I love home design and renovation (these make my job even more fun) and am lucky to share those loves with my extraordinary wife, Lori. She’s always got my back and I have her to thank for so much. When I met her, I won at life.

If the team wants to implement something, I get it done. I love navigating the controls of the administrative hub of this rocket called The Integrity Team. I take care of all the details of running this ship so the agents can do what they do best: attend to you, our client.

My job is to make sure our agents are not dividing their time between paperwork, marketing, IT solutions or administrative tasks, like most are. I solve our puzzles and create calm from chaos. That’s what I do best. My job is constantly to evaluate and upgrade our tools and systems so our clients have the very best real estate experience possible. I’m 100% committed.

In life, I share my love for the metro Detroit area with my extensive family and friends, including Abigail and Maya, who just happen to be felines, genetically; but I also enjoy travel and adventure. I like being outdoors, kayaking and camping. You’ll always find my time divided with my charity work. I love helping people and giving back is at my core. There’s something very rewarding about leaving a situation better than I found it.
